Baocong Farm Bakery
Beside the Taoyuan Da-Yuan Interchange, "Baocong Farm Bakery," operated by owner Huang Baocong, delivers fresh milk daily. After refrigerating at low temperatures, the farm sends the milk directly to the bakery to craft various fresh dairy products—an unmatched level of freshness.
Hsu Baogui, who was awarded one of the Ten Outstanding Agrarian Women of the Shennong Awards in 2006, said: "I learned from my husband to manage the farm and observe the elders' craftsmanship. I also have a deep interest in pastries and desserts, so I actively joined the Farm Ladies Association, dreaming of becoming a pastry chef someday."
The bakery began modestly as a breakfast shop, with a small storefront offering dairy items like fresh milk, yogurt, milk tea, and fresh milk buns. Gradually, it expanded to nearly twenty types of pastries and small desserts.
Ingredients are made fresh daily and sold on the same day, so the bakery does not provide home delivery services. The "Farm Ladies" work diligently alongside to operate the bakery, balancing both the farm and business with great enthusiasm. The farm and bakery unite their bonds, exuding a warm, community-driven ambiance.
