From spring to summer, if there is prolonged drought without rain, the high nutrients in the fish ponds next to Cihoh Lake allow the red "photosynthetic bacteria" to proliferate in large quantities, causing the pond at Cihoh Lake to change color. The multicolored pond resembles God's palette, almost as if one could hand Him a set of watercolor paints to complete His artwork, attracting many tourists to come for photos. Due to weather and sunlight conditions, the color of the pond varies, and it is recommended to visit in the morning on sunny days.
