台北市士林區至善路二段221號
The National Palace Museum was completed in 1965 at the Outer Twin Stream area, featuring Chinese palace-style architecture. The first to third floors are exhibition spaces, while the fourth floor houses a tea house named Sanxi Study. It holds the world's largest collection of Chinese artistic treasures, primarily inherited from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, virtually encompassing the entire five-thousand-year history of China, with over 650,000 items. The National Palace Museum is celebrated as a "treasure house of Chinese culture."

The National Palace Museum preserves historical artifacts from various Chinese dynasties. Collections originally derived from the Beijing Palace Museum come from the late Qing imperial court; those previously belonging to the Central Museum Preparatory Office were mostly from the former Antiquities Exhibition Office, located in Rehe and Shenyang imperial palaces. Consequently, the core collection of the National Palace Museum today is a comprehensive assembly of cultural relics from the three Qing imperial palaces in Beijing, Rehe, and Shenyang.

In addition to its rich exhibitions, the National Palace Museum offers professional guided tours and regularly hosts various cultural workshops, special lectures, and traveling exhibitions. It publishes over 100 journals and albums, making it a cultural treasure trove indeed. The National Palace Museum is a must-visit destination for travelers to Taiwan.
