台南市七股區七股頂山南25
The area of Qigou Top Mountain is mostly composed of fish ponds and abandoned salt flats, providing abundant food sources for birds and minimal human disturbance, resulting in a rich avifauna. Common bird species include the Black-faced Spoonbill, Brown-winged Storm Petrel, and Pied Avocet. The "Top Mountain Bird Watching Pavilion" was established in 2017 and is a two-story wooden building with a camouflaged design. The pavilion allows observation of bird activity in all four directions (east, south, west, and north), providing a comprehensive view of birds on the roads, water surfaces, in flight, and near the water. The pavilion also features accessible facilities and a parking lot, ensuring that visitors with mobility impairments can enjoy a complete bird-watching experience. The building has large and small viewing windows on all sides, with bird guides posted on the walls, introducing the frequently spotted bird species in the area through images and text. Visitors can gain a deeper understanding of the local ecosystem through these guides. The well-planned Qigou Top Mountain Bird Watching Pavilion is an ideal destination for families to visit and get close to nature.
