The Crystal Church is located at the border of the North and Central Salt Fields of Zhuwajiang. The western coast is flat and open, with salt fields being the dominant landscape feature. The church's design takes inspiration from the large and small piles of salt, with a white color scheme representing the salt. The name "Crystal Church" comes from the crystalline structure of salt and the church's historical connection to providing solace to patients with beriberi. The Crystal Church was completed in 2014 and has become a popular spot for wedding photography. With its expansive and open surroundings, visitors can enjoy a distant view of Xishan, Dog Clouds, and the bromine extraction tower. The church is also accessible from the Jingzaijiao Salt Field. The Crystal Church's nighttime illumination schedule is as follows: - Summer (March 1st to September 30th): Weekends, 6:00-6:30 PM - Winter (October 1st to February 28/29th): Weekends, 5:30-6:00 PM
