The "Erwanping Station" in Alishan is located at an altitude of about 2,000 meters. It is one of the important relay stations of the Alishan Forest Railway and a hidden gem for many travelers and photography enthusiasts. Here, you can enjoy not only the quiet mountains and railway scenery but also the unique sea of clouds, sunset, and lush forests. Additionally, Erwanping Station is an excellent spot to observe the sunset and sea of clouds on Mount Ta, especially during the autumn and winter seasons when the sea of clouds is even more spectacular. Visitors can take a short detour from the Alishan Highway at the 86K mark and drive about three kilometers to reach Erwanping and the Rescue Corps Alishan Youth Activity Center.
