Fanjiang Old House Group consists of five distinctive old houses characterized by the simple, time-honored style of Hakka architecture. Each house adopts a traditional three-joined courtyard layout, encircled by brick walls to form a rectangular-shaped complex. The gate lintel is inscribed with a valuable plaque reading "Fragrance of Tao Wei's Legacy," while the ancestral hall houses precious relics such as incense stands and clay jars. The intricately painted walls, woodcarvings, and brick carvings are particularly notable. Annually, the community holds large-scale gatherings and ancestor worship ceremonies on the 5th day of the fourth lunar month and the 1st day of the eighth lunar month.
