南竿鄉夫人村
Traditional Settlement of Siwei, Nangang Village **Scenic Seaside Views of Suiwei** Traveling further north from Matsu Village, you'll arrive at the westernmost tip of Nangang Island, also known as "Suiwei." This rare, well-preserved village in Nangang was once the headquarters of legendary Matsu figure Lin Yihuo. The area housed military units and featured a power plant and a rice mill established during the village's period of prosperity. After gradually declining, the village now has only a few households residing there, and many areas remain unrestored, retaining their original features. The modest landscape of Siwei Village faces the coast with its back to Autumn Osmanthus Hill, contrasting beautifully against fishing boats dotting the sea. Sunset here is particularly enchanting, earning it the name "Suiwei Sunset." Once located near the Fo蓉 Harbor in Siwei Village, the Matsu Fisheries Research Institute was a key base for aquaculture development and especially famed for cultivating limpets. Thanks to research from the institute combined with the region's unique natural conditions, limpets became a staple delicacy in Matsu cuisine. Visitors to Matsu must try this exquisite flavor. In 2018, the fisheries institute was renovated into the Blue Jellyfish Ecological Museum, conducting cultivation programs for the bioluminescent blue jellyfish. **Blue Jellyfish Ecological Museum** Address: No. 24, Siwei Village, Nangang Township, Lienchiang County Opening Hours: 10:00-12:00, 13:30-17:40, 18:40-21:00 **Madam's Café Revives Romantic Stone House Tradition** Nestled in the village, Madam's Café is a traditional stone house built nearly 80 years ago.
