Simple Chinese worship of the main deity: Temple ceremony of the Warm King
Date: Lunar 1st of the 11th month
Originally, our ancestors would bring incense from their hometowns to offer worship here. Due to a lack of supplies, a thatched hut was built for villagers to pray. Later, a temple was erected on the north slope of the local Qizi Mountain. During the Qing Emperor Yongzheng’s reign, the temple site in the southern part of the village was rebuilt into a new temple, the Flowing Water and Warm King Hall. In the 54th year (August), a new site was chosen, the temple was rebuilt, and renamed the De Ling Warm King Hall.
