Using "a large drum, a pair of cymbals, and a suona" to form a new type of band, the "drum pavilion array" was created for easy marching on rural roads. The wooden drum pavilions we commonly see today are an improved version of this form. On February 28, 1947, during the procession, the addition of Chen Cai's drum pavilion array attracted many people to join the protest march, making it an essential propaganda tool at the time.
