Longtou Mountain is located near 12km of Gaoshan Road in the Maolin District. It has an area of about 22 hectares and is a precious landform of circumscribed hill. The mountain is surrounded by high mountains on three sides, and the streams are winding. The river water is clear, and the strange rocks and sheer cliffs stand along the riverbanks, forming a ridge like a dragon's spine, making the entire terrain look like a crouching dragon. You can often see groups of eagles soaring over the cliffs or flying along the valleys, so it was originally called "Eagle Valley". Through a long period of erosion, the flowing water divides the hill into two sections, which looks like a giant dragon spitting beads when viewed from afar, so it is also known as "Dragon Spitting Beads". By going up a nearby trail, you can reach a stone-paved pavilion on the top of Longtou Mountain, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view.
