The main roads in this area run along the You Luo Stream and around the Dashiangu Mountain. This area is a major citrus-producing region in Hsinchu County. During early summer, a large number of fireflies gather here, making it the most famous firefly-watching spot in Hsinchu County. The Dashiangu Leisure Agriculture Area is centered on Leshan Hall in the village of Hengshan and covers the Dashiangu area. Dashiangu is famous for producing citrus. The surrounding hillsides around Leshan Hall are home to various sightseeing orchards. From December to March, the area abounds with various citrus. Folk customs of Hakka culture, and the primitive charm of ancient trails, all of these can deeply exhibit the characteristics of the region. The establishment of Dashiangu Leisure Agriculture Area aims to inspire local residents to protect the rural culture and natural landscape of Hengshan.
