The trail reopened on 2015 March 15. Located on the border of Ruili and Ruifeng, on the upper stream of Zhukeng Creek, the trail starts at the entrance near the 81.5km mark of Provincial Highway 166. The trail is about 1950 meters long and takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete. Visitors can pick wild ginger flowers as a souvenir. Upon entering the trail, riverbanks lined with wild ginger flowers can be seen. The flowers bloom from June to October and emit a strong fragrance. The new leaves of the nearby tea plants contain dew from the previous night and give off a pleasant aroma. After passing an arch bridge, the trail enters a section with high humidity and dense vegetation. The stone-paved surface can be slippery due to weather conditions, so visitors need to be cautious and watch their steps. However, this section is home to fireflies, and frogs such as the Meson's tree frog and Ladrouhisse's red frog. The area is lush and hidden, and the frogs' camouflage helps them blend in.
The two sides of Yeh Jiang Flower Creek are lined with wild ginger flowers. When the flowers bloom, they emit a fragrant scent that attracts visitors. This is a great spot for butterfly watching, with a variety of species such as the Common Tiger, the Purple Tiger, the Great Red Tiger, the Eastern Comma, the White-banded Fritillary, the Chinese Peacock, the Oriental Swallowtail, the Short-tailed Gray, and the Snake-eye Butterfly. The rich biodiversity in this area is due to its pristine environment. The forest here is a mix of secondary and primary forests, and a stream runs through it. The trail is lined with nectar-rich plants like Angsana and larval food plants for butterflies, providing a rich source of food and attracting various creatures to stop and settle, forming a complete ecosystem.
