"Domay Flavor Food " located in beautiful Hualien Yanliao Village, on the side of Highway 11, is a distinctive local restaurant with flavors close to the original inhabitants. The cute owner couple came here a dozen years ago and built this leisurely coastal space, each contributing their expertise, brick by brick. "Domay" is an Amis word for "bear". In the past, bears often roamed around Yanliao, so the Amis people called this place domay. The enthusiastic and hospitable owner, often showcased her culinary skills when receiving friends in the past. After opening the store, she focused on native-style dishes and common home-style dishes in set menus. She welcomes friends from afar to Yanliao for a meal and asks for advance phone reservations. "Domay Flavor Food" was built by the couple. You can also see the owner's driftwood creations inside and outside the restaurant. The movie "Cedar-Breasted" production team once visited this place to purchase creative art pieces from the owner. The popular TV drama "Love Comes Back" also chose to shoot in the area around Yanliao, featuring local homestays, seascape, and the restaurant's kitchen. It's another fresh story worth hearing when you have a meal here!
