Taiwan Black Tea Co., Ltd. was established in 1937 and has a history of nearly 80 years. Its predecessors were the Chikeshan Tea Association and the Taiwan Black Tea Kabushiki Kaisha. During the Japanese colonial period, when most tea factories still relied on foreign firms or Japanese trading companies for exports, Taiwan Black Tea Company directly exported to overseas markets with excellent quality and a modern corporate operating model. The black tea, green tea, pouchong tea, and baihao tea produced by its various branch factories have been exported to more than 80 ports over the years, spread across five continents, including European and American markets, the Japanese market, the North China market, and even to Kenya or Ethiopia in Africa, witnessing the development of Taiwan's tea export history.
