Our shop has been operating in Lukang for over a decade, serving customers with honesty and diligence. In addition to meat buns and mantou, we also offer vegetable buns and the National Banquet salted egg cake, and have developed many varieties of buns and mantou. Many of our products preserve traditional methods from the past while incorporating innovative ideas. The food is honest, and the prices are fair. The salted egg cake comes in two flavors—cabbage salt egg cake and pork floss salt egg cake—and was selected as Lukang’s National Banquet Salted Egg Cake in 2001. The salted egg cake is steamed using traditional wooden steamer, giving it a strong egg aroma, firm texture, and it is low in oil and sugar, resulting in a non-greasy mouthfeel that deserves a careful taste. Meat buns, vegetable buns, and salted egg cake are the most popular products at Chao Wei Zhen, attracting many people by reputation.
