Mr. Yeh worked in the hardware trade in Japan in his early years. In his spare time, he enjoyed trying various breads and desserts. During his days off, he would also make desserts himself, and his favorite dessert was pudding. Although pudding seemed simple to make, it wasn't easy at all. The texture and aroma of the pudding varied with temperature, ratio, and baking time. To create the perfect pudding, Mr. Yeh tried countless different ratios and combinations. Finally, he came up with a delicious baked pudding with a golden ratio. In 2008, he returned to Taiwan and opened XiaoYe Pudding. Most puddings sold on the market today contain food additives. However, XiaoYe Pudding stands out from the rest. The biggest difference is that it doesn't add any food additives. Instead, it uses only natural ingredients like eggs, milk, and sugar. The entire process, from mixing, filling, baking, to packaging, is done manually. In 2011 and 2012, XiaoYe Pudding won the Fucheng Top 10 Souvenirs for two consecutive years. With the recognition and guarantee from the Tainan City Government, consumers can purchase and enjoy XiaoYe Pudding with confidence. In the future, Mr. Yeh hopes that people all over Taiwan can feel his effort and dedication to XiaoYe Pudding.
