The Nangang Bottle Cap Factory was built during the Japanese colonial period in 1943. It was originally called "Kokusen Nenmoku Kogyo Kabushiki Gaisha." After the return of Taiwan, it was renamed "Taiwan Provincial Tobacco and Alcohol Monopoly Bureau Bottle Cap Factory." It ceased production in 2004 and was transformed into "Bottle Cap Factory Taipei Manufacturing Site" in 2020.
