The Vision Pavilion is located on Section 4 of Xinbei Avenue in Xinzhuang, at the very head of the Zhonggang Drainage Channel. The pavilion was built alongside the channel’s remediation project to help visitors understand both the engineering work and water-related information. On the first floor, old photos of Xinzhuang are visible inside the glass façade, while the inner walls display modern imagery filled with cute children. Inside, it feels like entering a fantastical water world; the sound of flowing water and projected images create the illusion of standing beside a stream. The most memorable feature is the 14-meter-long interactive wall. In addition to information on the channel’s remediation, evolution, hydrology, and history, the Vision Pavilion regularly hosts exhibitions for interested visitors. Guides are also available to provide digital tours, allowing the public to absorb knowledge interactively while learning about Xinzhuang’s history and culture, the origins, process, and results of the Zhonggang Drainage Channel remediation, and the environmental concepts of water-resource management—making it an educational and enriching venue.
