Zhenyi Pavilion
Zhenyi Pavilion is not an old shop, yet it has the perseverance and love of an old shop.
Our predecessor was an export clothing factory designated by Western luxury brands.
In the 1970s, we started with just two tables, taking orders and doing business.
In October 2010, we closed our clothing factory in Taiwan together with more than 80 employees. These veteran employees were over 50 years old on average, and many of them had been with us since the beginning, going through the peak period of Taiwan's clothing industry. Everyone supported their families and raised their children with this job, sacrificing more than 20 years of their youth. The clothing factory was their second home. None of them could have imagined that one day they would have to leave this place!
With the changes of the times, the prosperity of the clothing industry has faded. Many factories have moved abroad, yet we still persisted in struggling hard, because we believed that there were these dedicated employees in Taiwan, and we shouldn't give up so easily. However, ultimately, we couldn't withstand the test of the big environment, so we decided to restructure. On the last day, everyone had tears on their faces. All the words they wanted to say were stuck in their throats, and they couldn't say a single word. It was an atmosphere full of reluctance and attachment. After the sadness, everyone sincerely wished: "You must make it, so that we can go back 'home'."
These words gave us full confidence to start again.
Because of our love for this land of Taiwan and our deep gratitude for the warm human feelings here, our snacks are 100% made with natural ingredients and 100% made in Taiwan. We started by making snacks for our families, so we don't add any extra seasonings, keeping the most natural taste of the food. Low oil and low sugar, we create delicious and healthy snacks, and also express our nostalgia and love for this hometown.
Some people say that this effort and determination are not at all like the modern people who pursue novelty.
For us, pursuing novelty is not the most important thing. What's important is that we persist in making the best snacks for you to taste the most authentic flavor. This is our promise and responsibility!
