It is said that this is a natural terrain that produces a spring. The soil and water within the inner and outer circles are in harmony, symbolizing that lovers are bound together in a lasting union. This area features an ecological wetland and waterfront platform, which also highlights the importance of soil and water conservation. The Bai Shi Lake community was originally designed with the theme of "Finding Happiness." A neglected spring was transformed through a clever design into the “Tong Xin Pond,” an ecological wetland spring in the shape of two hearts. A resting pavilion, the “Yong Jie Pavilion,” was built beside the pond. The ecological wetland and waterfront platform surround each other, and the water and soil are skillfully matched, symbolizing that lovers are bound together in a lasting union. A couple coming here on a romantic trip will surely add points to their happiness. The nearby Gu Zhui Pond was built by local farmers, led by "Mr. Gu Zhui," to solve the problem of irrigating farmland in the mountainous area. The villagers collectively excavated this pond. Later generations named it "Gu Zhui Pond" to commemorate Mr. Gu Zhui.(Source: Earth Engineering Department)
