In the past, it was an important ancient road for agricultural products between Shihkuang Village and Lungtan, with a history of nearly two hundred years. It wasn't until a few decades ago, when highways were built, that the ancient road gradually declined. In recent years, with the efforts of the local community development association, the government provided special funding to assist in the renovation of the Shiguang Ancient Trail by the Shiguang Community Development Association and the government. The starting point of the ancient trail is Shiguang Junior High School, and the endpoint is the Teayuan Gazebo. Along the way, gazebos, scenic platforms, and wooden chairs have been set up for tourists to rest and enjoy. This survey combines the Shiguang Trail and Shiguang Ancient Trail. The Shiguang Trail runs from the Holy Mother's Home to the Teayuan Gazebo. Because this trail passes through Mt. Laohu, locals call it the Laohu Mountain Trail.
