Most of Lukang's historical landmarks are concentrated within the town, while attractions in the suburbs are few and far between. However, since January 3, 2010, the "Hsu-Mu Rural Artifacts Memorial Museum" has opened in the Nanshi Community of Yangcuo Village, Lukang. Integrated with surrounding community sights, it has become a popular stop for cyclists. Visitors can not only experience the peaceful serenity of a traditional village, chase the sunset along the Yangzi Cuo Stream with flocks of white egrets, but also revisit an era of scarcity yet brimming with hope, thanks to the newly added rural artifacts museum—making it an ideal spot for families to appreciate heritage and nature.
