The entrance of Fengbo Plaza in Ershui, Changhua, is equipped with a parking lot, restrooms, a stage, and children's play facilities, as well as stone tables for rest. The surrounding area is rich in ecology, with nearby trails such as Miaoqian Ditch Trail, Kengnei Ditch Trail, and the popular Ershui Dengmiao Trail. It's common to see birds, butterflies, and wild macaques roaming around, making it a great place for a family outing and an ecological observation trip. To maintain a safe distance from wild animals, warning signs and plaques are placed throughout Fengbo Plaza, reminding visitors not to feed the wild animals. Feeding them can not only cause the macaques to lose their foraging ability but also lead to competitive eating behavior. To preserve the natural environment and the original lifestyle of the monkey group, it's essential to follow the three conservation principles: "no feeding, no touching, and no disturbance." Keeping a safe distance while observing the macaques is a protection for both humans and animals. If you want to take a leisurely hike in Ershui, consider parking your vehicle at Fengbo Plaza and taking the Dengmiao Trail to Shoutian Temple. Along the way, you can experience the hard work of the Shangsongbao people (people from the mountain top) who used to carry their agricultural products to trade in Changhua Ershui Township. The Dengmiao Trail is approximately 2.1 kilometers long, consisting of asphalt roads and stairs, with a generally gentle slope until the final section, where the stairs become steeper. After visiting the temple, you can take a stroll down the century-old tea street and experience the charm of Songbo Longqing Tea.
