Originally a trade route between Ershui in Changhua and Mingjian in Nantou, it is now a hiking trail in Ershui Township, Changhua County, linking to the Shoutian Temple on Songboling; the total length is about 2 km. The entire trail is a gently sloping, tree-shaded path, with only the “Moruxiang” section offering steep steps. Benches and pavilions are provided along the way for rest. A chance encounter with Formosan rock macaques is a special feature of the trail. In addition, a 2-minute walk from the trail’s end reaches Shoutian Temple (potable water and public toilets available, though services may vary due to pandemic conditions); nearby teahouses line the street, making it ideal for leisure hiking.
