"Originally a historic pilgrimage route for local residents to the Shoutian Temple on Songbai Ridge, it is now a forest trail in Ershui Township, Changhua County, linking up to the Shoutian Temple. Including the farm road, the total length is about 1.9 km. The trail itself is made up entirely of steep steps, while the farm road is lined with benches and pavilions offering close-up views of the Kengneikeng Creek valley and a chance to study the demonstration project for wild-stream ecology. Thanks to minimal human disturbance, flora and fauna are easily observed, and Formosan rock macaques are occasionally seen. From the trail’s terminus, it is a two-minute walk to the Shoutian Temple, around which tea shops cluster. Both the Shoude Temple at the trailhead and the Shoutian Temple at the far end provide drinking water and public restrooms, making the route ideal for leisurely hiking.▌Trail length: 0.32 km.▌Walking time: 0.2 hr.▌Facilities: parking (motorcycles, cars), signposts, rest pavilions, ecological demonstration area, benches, viewing platform, gazebo"
