The traditional "Hu Xu Zhang Lu Rou Fan" has now become a registered trademark of lu rou fan. Starting from a roadside stall near Shuanglian Market, it has risen to become "state banquet-level" lu rou fan, and has now developed into a transnational company with 31 branches in Taiwan and 2 branches in Japan. In addition, it also offers frozen gift box deliveries. Because of its high-quality ingredients and excellent taste, it has earned a good reputation for honesty and credibility, which has finally led to a thriving business. Mr. Zhang, the founder who only graduated from elementary school, didn't have time to trim his beard because he was too busy, so the customers gave him the nickname "Hu Xu Zhang." Hu Xu Zhang has shone brightly and won the "Most Popular Award" at the 9th Taipei Food Carnival for its lu rou fan. It insists on using only 1% of the most precious pork neck meat, known as "Jin Lue Rou," which is particularly special because it cuts the braised meat into strips instead of the commonly seen cubes or minced meat. Therefore, although the meat is braised thoroughly, it still shows distinct meat fibers, which is very substantial. In addition, it uses high-quality rice certified by the national authority, aiming to pass on the original flavor of lu rou fan to every consumer, allowing everyone to enjoy the essence of this Taiwanese food culture. From a street vendor to a chain store, it has always emphasized the spirit of traditional Taiwan flavors, with rich and flavorful sauce, non-oily and non-greasy braised pork, and never adding any artificial flavorings.
