The building’s exterior retains the rooftop of Taizi Hall, while the interior features white iron tables and chairs, weathered old market signs, and a literary‑reading zone, creating a harmonious and eclectic space. Its unique style has become a popular photo‑op in Taichung. The venue periodically hosts history‑culture exhibitions, manga and illustration‑themed events, or local youth‑startup markets. It also sells products and offers light dining that combine illustration themes with local agricultural specialties, creating a locale that offers both cultural experience and leisure entertainment in East District. The site functions to preserve and revitalize historic architecture while fostering youth entrepreneurship.
