Lima Life Workshop has transformed from an old ceramic factory, combining industry, leisure, dining, and indigenous and Hakka cultures, making it quite unique. The workshop features a series of daily ceramics with totems and patterns of various indigenous tribes, which are eye-catching and well-received. The workshop's head, Nan Xian-tian, is a Bunun from Taitung. In the past, he operated a ceramic factory in Daxi Village, Zaoqiao Township, specializing in producing decorative ceramics mainly for export. Over a decade ago, the export ceramic industry gradually declined, and Nan Xian-tian "returned to the origin" and rethought. Seven years ago, he began designing a series of ceramics with indigenous totem styles, creating a unique feature. Lima is derived from the translation of "indigenous" and "LIMA", which means "five". If you stretch out your hand, the five fingers represent the number five, symbolizing the vitality of the indigenous people, who are accustomed to making things with their bare hands. The owner couple has integrated the characteristics of their Hakka and indigenous cultures into ceramic creativity and dining, expressing the unique style that belongs to Lima.
