Established in 1945, with affordable prices, the walls are decorated with signs indicating eight flavors: red beans, taro, peanuts, goji berries, eggs, Li Mei (a type of fruit), strawberries, and passion fruit. The selection is not extensive. Some old-fashioned ice cream scoops are hanging on the walls, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. A single scoop of ice cream has witnessed the changes of the times. A bowl contains three scoops, allowing customers to choose any flavor. Taking a bite, one might unexpectedly find dried longan or large beans, bringing a classic, traditional Taiwanese flavor, instantly transporting one back to the old days.
