The Earth Mother Supreme, the divine sovereign of earth, mountains, and rivers, is one of the Four Rulers in Taoism and ranks alongside the Jade Emperor Lord, who governs the celestial realm. Since ancient times, there has been the saying: "Heaven is yang, Earth is yin; Heaven is the Father, Earth is the Mother." Likewise, the ancient reverence for Heaven and closeness to Earth stem from humanity's profound veneration for land and nature. The architectural design of temples draws upon principles such as Non-Polarity (Wuji), Tai Chi (Two Instruments), Four Symbols, Five Elements, and the Eight Trigrams, each embodying divine ingenuity and extraordinary craftsmanship, truly deserving of admiration.
