The trail is under renovation and will be closed from [Month] [Day] to [Month] [Day] (tentative). The Fushan Ancient Trail is a small path for residents of Le Ye, Lai Ji, and Shizizi villages to travel to Dabang. The renovated Fushan Ancient Trail is approximately 1,880 meters long, winding between elevations of 1,100 to 1,400 meters. To access the main entrance on the east side, turn into the industrial road from the 68.6-kilometer mark on the Alishan Highway (Taiwan Route 18) and continue for 300 meters. The east section offers a great view, where you can overlook the Zengwen Stream and the Tefu Wild settlement, formerly known as the "Dana Bawa Na" ancient trail. The west section, which connects with the Mihu Trail, is a prime area for ecological observation. The trail passes through tea gardens and settlements, with bamboo forests, cedar forests, and primitive forests forming a rich landscape. The scenery is primitive and rich, with not only lush plant growth but also attracting many birds to inhabit. The sounds of birds and insects are continuous. Low- to mid-elevation birds such as the five-colored bird, the bushy-tailed bird, the red-headed bird, the crowned and white-eared laughing thrush often appear, and the bird sightings are excellent. Friendly facilities: Accessible restrooms (near the parking lot)
