Stepping into Anluan Villa, the first sight to greet you is a hundred-meter-long green corridor. Flanking the walkway are meticulously crafted wooden fences, over which climb Southeast-Asian staples such as Vanda orchids, forming a fresh and delightful natural hedge. Once you emerge from the corridor it feels like entering another world: a Bali-style wooden pavilion and a carefully designed cooling pond make you feel as though you’ve been transported to the tropics.
Beyond the tropical décor, five wooden cabins inside the estate provide guests with a place to rest. Cypress-wood floors exude warmth, while Balinese ornaments on the walls create a sense of time and place displaced. The villa also supplies bicycles so that staying guests can ride the Wanluan scenic cycling path and enjoy the area’s pastoral countryside vistas.
