Tianxing Kiln, located beside the beautiful Jiji Green Tunnel, was built in Republic of China Year 45 (1956) and has become the oldest continuously operating kiln producing ceramic goods, recognized by its unique style and currently preserving its original kiln structure. To help visitors better understand its history, a Ceramic Origin Alley was specifically constructed inside the premises, showcasing products made by Tianxing Kiln from past to present as well as ceramic industry evolution. Visitors are encouraged to clearly grasp the development of modern ceramic art in Taiwan through the touring experience. Presently, aside from ongoing ceramic production and dedicated transmission education programs, the establishment continues actively pushing forward the "Jiji Township Ceramic Art Town" project with excellent results. A ceramic art class is also available for visitors to enjoy the joy of working with clay.
