Cat Mouse Noodles was founded during the Japanese occupation era. At first, people were surprised by the name “Cat Mouse Noodles,” but there is no cat or mouse meat or any strange ingredients in it. The name actually comes from the boss’s quick and nimble movements, which in Taiwanese were described as “lǎoshǔzi” (little mouse), and it was phonetically translated into “Cat Mouse Noodles.”
