The Fengshan Viewing Platform is located on the old road from Fengshan to Shehouliping. Some people describe Fengshan as: “with your foot on the border of three counties and your hand holding water from three creeks”. The viewing platform has a broad view and is an ideal place to look out over Fengshan village and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountainous valleys. From near the car park, you can see the Dragon Falls (Jiaolong Waterfall). During the rainy season, you can feel the magnificent potential of Taiwan’s highest waterfall gushing down. Walking up the stairs to the Fengshan Viewing Platform and looking northwest, you can see the confluence of Jiaolong Stream and Shigudanping Stream. To the north, the Dried Hole Stream (Gankeng Stream) meets and joins the Qingshui Stream. Having looked out over Fengshan village from the Fengshan Viewing Platform, you should then walk into Fengshan. Fengshan has ten scenic spots: Shipangu Waterfall Cluster, Dragon Waterfall, Granite Water on Blue, Plum Flower Ridge, Snake Tree Laying Eggs, Fairy Tree Embracing Stone, Big Dian Rain Waterfall, Thousand-person Cave, Fairy Garden and Stone Dream Valley. In addition to the natural landscape, you can also explore the cultural and humanistic features of Fengshan village.
