In the Ubud Rainforest restaurant, all the furniture, décor, and building materials come from Indonesia. Many of the facilities were even supervised by Liang Zhengbin himself on site, as if playing with “big building blocks”: they were labeled, disassembled, shipped to Taiwan, and then reassembled according to the marks. The Ubud Rainforest dishes also come from Liang Zhengbin. The chefs hired there are accustomed to making “spicy-flavored” dishes, which conflicts with the owner Liang Zhengbin’s philosophy that “freshness is what makes food delicious, authenticity is the real skill.” Therefore, the owner of Ubud Rainforest personally went to Indonesia to learn authentic cooking techniques and insists on using natural, fresh ingredients, emphasizing health. He hopes that visitors to Ubud Rainforest can relax and enjoy themselves, savoring distinctive Southeast Asian cuisine while blowing in a gentle breeze, listening to insects and birds, admiring nature’s beauty, and enjoying a relaxed atmosphere that feels like being in a foreign country.
