The Shui-li Creek originates from the areas around Sun Moon Lake, Tou-she, Shuao-kui and Wu-cheng. The valley has the Jiji Railway which leads to the Checheng Secret Garden. Checheng used to be an important town for Taiwan's lumber industry. The bike path runs along the west bank of the Shui-li Creek to Checheng, and then on to the Shui-yun Bridge and Shui-li Riverside Park. The total distance is about 4 kilometers. The slope in the urban area is quite gentle. On the way to Checheng, you may find it a bit challenging. However, while riding along the bike path, you can enjoy the traditional wood industry of Checheng, beautiful scenery around Shui-li Creek and experience simple, local life in Shui-li.
