Growing good tea: it means selecting good tea varieties and planting them in appropriate land. Making good tea: it refers to processing different types of fresh tea leaves, removing the undesirable "green" smell that comes from the soil and water during different seasons and climates, and then creating the original fine qualities of the tea, which can be called good tea. Drinking good tea: one must first not drink tea mixed with other substances, then not drink tea made without proper techniques, and finally be able to distinguish good tea produced by good tea plants.
These are all the concepts of Mr. Zhang Naimiao towards tea. He once developed the techniques of making Baozhong tea in the Wenshan area, introduced Tieguanyin, and taught the experience of making tea. He played a very important role in the development of the tea industry in Maokong. This museum was established to commemorate him, and is currently operated by his son, Mr. Zhang Weiyi. Inheriting his grandfather's tea-making techniques, he has been making tea for more than 30 years. At the museum, you can listen to him recounting the details of his grandfather's past, and learn about the lifelong efforts of the grandfather to promote Tieguanyin tea in Taiwan. This place not only provides books related to tea for reading and discussion, but also offers visits and detailed explanations about the above concepts, allowing you to learn the art of growing, making, and drinking good tea.
