台北市大同區長安西路39號
Taipei Contemporary Art Museum is a heritage building with a red brick facade, wooden roof structure, vertical wooden louvers, and a black-tiled Western-style sloping roof. During the Japanese colonial period, it housed the Taipei Jingcheng Elementary School. After the Retrocession of Taiwan, the building served as the Taipei City Government offices until 1994, when the city government relocated to the Xinyi Plan District. The main structure of the city government building was repurposed as an art museum, while the eastern and western wings were converted into the Jingcheng Junior High School.

The museum was originally known as the "Taipei Second Art Museum," but it was later separated from the National Museum of Modern Art, and officially renamed the "Taipei Contemporary Art Museum" in 2000. It showcases various contemporary artworks. To enhance public understanding of the exhibits, the museum provides free audio guide downloads, free audio guide rentals, and complimentary group tour services. Weekend seminars, lecture series, and workshop activities are regularly held, occasionally including training camps. The public is welcome to register for these events.
