Jibe Beach is located on Jibe Island, north of Baisha Township. The most famous feature of the island is the captivating sand spit, which stretches 800 meters long and 300 meters wide. The sand tail stretches out into the sea, and the turquoise sea, blue sky, and golden coast create a harmonious scene. There are vacation cottages on the island for accommodation, making it one of the popular spots for summer vacation, honeymoon, and water activities. The continuous erosion by currents, waves, and tides moves collapsed rock fragments and sand to suitable spots where they accumulate, eventually forming beach, shoal, spit, or land-bridged island formations. The beautiful and unique sand spit of Jibe was formed this way. Jibe's spit extends outward, accumulating a beach several thousand meters long that presents a long shape, and it is also covered in golden sand, hence it is also called Jibe's “Yellow Sand Spit.” Besides being adjacent to the azure coast, there are also green coastal plants nearby, creating a beautiful scene. The sea color ranges from light blue to deep blue, blending with the golden, endless beach. This location was also a filming site for the drama “Dolphin Bay Lovers.” It is also very suitable for water activities.
