The Baiji Xingxiu Palace is located on the mountainside of Baiji in Sanxia. It is a branch of Xingtian Temple, also known as Sanxia Xingtian Temple or Sanxia Enzhugong Temple. The temple primarily enshrines Lord Guan, reflecting a folk belief that integrates Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. The grand architecture makes it a prominent branch of Taipei Xingtian Temple, attracting a steady stream of worshippers and serving as a spiritual center for the local Hakka community.
The temple enjoys an excellent natural setting, surrounded by lush forests. In spring, the hills are blanketed with blooming azaleas in a dazzling display, while in winter, plum blossoms create a serene atmosphere. Flanking staircases behind the temple lead to hiking trails on the mountainside. Walking beneath the shade of the trees, with vine-covered pavilions along the way, is both refreshing and delightful. If you climb to the summit, you can admire vast stretches of pine and acacia forests—a truly beautiful sight.
