Ershao Observation Platform Live Real-time Image The photography community has long circulated a list of the top three sunrise spots: North Gětou, Middle Wucheng, and South Ershao. What they have in common is their breathtaking low-altitude sea of clouds. Ershao sunrise is also the lowest-altitude sunrise spot in Taiwan, renowned as the "dawn closest to the city". On clear days, if you arrive before dawn and stand on a high vantage point to gaze east, the Central Mountain Range will emerge in the morning light. As the sun rises behind the mountains, its rays shine obliquely, illuminating the white earthen hills. The Moon World reveals its true appearance amidst the colorful and ever-changing clouds and fog. Bamboo silhouettes sway in the morning glow, and a magnificent landscape of mountains and rivers, like an ink painting, unfolds before your eyes. The newly built observation platform in recent years is quite different from other small platforms, offering a spacious area that can accommodate nearly 2,000 people. The surrounding area also features a parking lot and restrooms, catering to visitors who come to worship at this sacred site.
