Ms. Peng Yufeng has been dedicated to promoting weaving techniques since establishing her workshop. She is one of the four weaving master teachers in the Wulai area. In addition to teaching community residents, she has long instructed students at the junior high school department of Wulai National Junior and Senior High School. The transmission of Tayal weaving art is her most important mission. Ms. Peng Yufeng's Tayal name is "Sayun," and the workshop is named "Yunyi," which means "Sayun's weaving art." Ms. Peng Yufeng said: "In the past, weaving was an essential skill for survival. Now, since people no longer need to weave for themselves, very few people are willing to teach or learn it."
