The Dimao'er Art Park is located about 200 meters above the Sanmin Township Office. "Dimao'er" is the Paiwan language "timur", which not only represents the Sanzidong Village but also implies that the Paiwan people are the descendants of the sun. The park is equipped with iconic sites such as the Life Stage, Ancestor Poles and Stoves to welcome visitors. The Life Stage resembles a sun and is used to host various festivals and activities. In the Paiwan people's mythology, the Hundred Steps Snake is the incarnation of their ancestors. Therefore, the stone seats in front of the stage are arranged in a pattern similar to the Hundred Steps Snake totem. The Ancestor Poles are a symbol of men and represent the continuation of life and good fortune. In contrast, the Stove is a symbol of women and also represents the continuation of life. Moreover, it is a place to pray for abundant food every day. The park is also a venue for various activities such as the Paiwan people's Harvest Festival, Austronesian weddings, Tunghua Festival and local festivals. When there are no activities, it can also be a place for strolling and watching the sunset. The recommended stay time is about 30-40 minutes. During the visit, one can check out the landmarks such as the Life Stage and Ancestor Poles and go to the observation deck to overlook the surrounding mountains and the scenery of the Sanmin Township.
