At the intersection of Xinxing Road and Heping Road, a large sign reading "Huwai Squid Congee" stands out. Indeed, "Squid Congee" is their signature dish. On the day of my visit, I coincidentally met the working team of "Takeshi Shirakawa in Taiwan" who had also come to film. It's clear that everyone shares the same passion for food. The Squid Congee here is clear and yellow, looking very appetizing. Unlike the heavily seasoned squid congee in the north, the light and delicate flavor of the congee, paired with the crunchy texture of the squid, leaves a lasting and fragrant memory on the palate.
