The store name is "Hakhak LAB Good Food Laboratory", which features borderless fusion cuisine and direct fire cooking. The chef himself is from Chiayi and has worked in the Western restaurant of the Ruisui Tainan Hotel. After years of experience, he has honed his culinary skills. He fell in love with a girl from Taitung, got married, and had children. To accompany his children's growth, he started "Hakhak LAB Good Food Laboratory" in the East District, combining Western cuisine with indigenous cuisine. All meals are cooked to order, with no semi-finished products, and everything is cooked directly over an open flame. The culinary spirit also echoes the experimental spirit of the store name, introducing many creative dishes, such as "Bovril Pork". Since Western cuisine can add red and white wine to cooking, Chinese cuisine can use Shaoxing wine to enhance the flavor, can we use Bovril, the favorite of indigenous people, in cooking? As for the curry rice that has been blooming in Chiayi in recent years, can we blur the national boundaries and create a unique flavor of curry rice that belongs to the restaurant, adding a spicy oil made from scallions, which will be a surprising taste?
