The Yuanguang Village Trail starts from Nanshan Temple, winding down along the tea plantation's production road and mountain path. The trail ends at the colorful suspension bridge in Cuoshi Village. Along the way, visitors can enjoy the green tea plantation scenery. The Yuanguang Elementary School (now a branch of Pinglin Elementary School) within the district is a very small elementary school, making it one of the smallest in New Taipei City. The school's teachers utilize their free time to design outdoor learning courses using the natural environment around the school. The goal is to allow students from this school and other schools to have opportunities to get close to nature through off-campus field trips.
