Liangshan Waterfall is located beside Niujiaowan Stream, the upstream of Donggang Stream, on the Provincial Highway 185 in Majia Township. The waterfall is divided into three tiers. The first tier is the smallest one, with gentle flowing water that converges into a pool at the foot of the fall. Since it is easily accessible, it attracts many tourists during holidays. The second and third tiers can be reached by hiking up the mountain, which is a challenging but rewarding experience, perfect for appreciating the stream and rocks. At dawn, many wild birds can be spotted in the area. During the flood season, the third tier becomes particularly spectacular. One can hear the roaring sound of the waterfall from afar, and as you get closer, you can feel the mist filling the valley and the impressive momentum of the waterfall. It is recommended to spend about 40 minutes here. If you have sufficient physical strength, you can hike up to the top tier to experience the refreshing and cooling sensation surrounded by the mountains and forests.
