Simplified Chinese, Japanese, English, Korean Aimen Beach boasts the longest white sand beach in Penghu. It is composed of coral and shell fragments, foraminifera fossils, and other debris, with star-shaped foraminifera being especially striking. White coral fragments on the sand, paired with a clear blue sea and sky, look like a white silk ribbon wrapping around the beach on the southern side of Lukang Township, which is truly magnificent. In the past, the beach was stripped of sand and turned into exposed rock by illegal sand and stone mining. Local elder Li Tianyu, the former village chief, and enthusiastic community members used sand nets to protect the beach, restoring Aimen Beach to its former appearance. It is now one of Penghu’s most popular romance beaches. The waters here are relatively calm, making it suitable for swimming, and there is a wooden pavilion for shade and rain protection. A simple water dispenser is also available for visitors to rinse themselves. Aimen Beach is connected to Lin Tou Beach, stretching several kilometers with a wide and beautiful shoreline. Drawing on elements such as beach, shells, love, tides, and music, a shell-shaped church featuring a heart-shaped shell was created on Lin Tou Beach. The pure white shell form resembles a love trumpet, while the streamlined ridges on the exterior symbolize musical rhythm, as if the church is playing wedding music. The heart-shaped cutout on the roof, combined with the arrangement of lucky four-leaf clovers, creates different sunlit patterns over time, exuding a romantic atmosphere and becoming Penghu’s new highlight. **Recommended visit duration:** 1 hour
